Coaching in Galway

My name is Dolores Andrew and I have been coaching for a number of years in a variety of areas including business coaching, confidence coaching, and more recently holistic life coaching.   

The model I use is client-driven and based on the premise that the client has the answers inside themselves.  By asking the right questions I guide my clients to understand what these answers are. 

I have been trained in the art of storytelling and how to elicit the real story from what a client actually says.   Whilst there are some traditional components in my coaching sessions, I prefer this approach to a more rigid structured model.

What Happens During a Coaching Session

The following are some of the typical areas I cover.

As individuals, we all have fundamental needs which need to be met in order for us to reach our potential.   Those needs include;

·       a need to be seen and heard;

·       a need to feel like we belong;

·       a need to have our basic needs met;

·       a need to love and be loved.  

When these basic needs are met we are then in a position to embark on a journey of;

·       becoming emotionally intelligent and

·       develop confidence and self-esteem.    

It is through our relationships with others we learn how to give and to receive.    (I share some insights on conscious relating for better relationships in this video.

Life is a journey and we are never at 100% of all of these needs at any given time.  

We form beliefs around our perceptions of life and whether or not we feel these needs have been met.   Our beliefs fuel our actions.

For example, if we hold a belief that no one wants to hear what we have to say then our confidence level may be at rock bottom.  

Limiting beliefs are one of the obstructions that cause you to stay stuck where you are and unable to move forward into the next step of reaching your full potential.

Other examples of obstructions that holds you back are;

·       No clear vision of where you want to go or who you want to become.

·       Not understanding your values - who you are and what you stand for.

·       You may have several goals and are not sure which of them to pursue.

·       Your inner saboteur may be suffocating you. 

·       You may feel you are not old enough or too old to make a change in your life.

·       You may feel you don’t have enough money to fulfill a goal.

Depending on your story I work with you to fulfill your coaching goal.     I will teach you tools to support your journey like emotional intelligence; setting boundaries; assertiveness; grounding your energy and being mindful.
